Today marked the conclusion of the Google APAC AI Academy, a program by Google APAC.
This program targeted GenAI startups across the APAC region, selecting 23 companies out of hundreds of applications. Our company was fortunate to be chosen as one of the participants.
This program allowed us to build connections not only across Asia but on a global scale, while leveraging Google’s extensive resources. As Google’s first bootcamp-style initiative, it was evident throughout that they were fully committed to its success.
For me personally, the program provided opportunities to reconnect with fellow participants at TechCrunch in San Francisco and to network extensively with people from Google and Google Cloud at SLUSH in Helsinki. These experiences made me truly appreciate the power of the “cohort” concept, a recurring theme within the program.
Since attending Google Next in Las Vegas this April, I’ve been invited to numerous Google-related events (, often featuring free food, drinks, ) and networking parties! Being able to participate in events all over the world has made for the perfect way to wrap up 2024.
The program itself was incredibly enjoyable, as it was both technology-focused and packed with valuable content.
Step by step, I will continue to take on new challenges and make steady progress toward our goals.
