Atlas Associates Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company," "we," or "us") establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of user information for the Google Sheets add-on "ARIADNE" (hereinafter referred to as "this Add-on") provided by the Company.

Introduction

 

This add-on, "ARIADNE," is a tool that we developed to solve a challenge we face ourselves in our daily work: organizing countless spreadsheet tabs. We actively use it internally within our company.

We have established this Policy to clearly define our handling of information so that all our users can use this Add-on with peace of mind.

Information We Access

 

To provide its features, this Add-on accesses the following information within the spreadsheet you are using:

  1. The names of all sheets: We read the list of sheet names for the sole purpose of generating the hierarchical list in the sidebar.

  2. The name of the currently active sheet: We read the name of the currently selected sheet for the sole purpose of highlighting the corresponding item in the sidebar.

IMPORTANT: We do not access, collect, or store any other information, including the contents of cells, text, numbers, formulas, any other data within your sheets, or any of your personal information.

Purpose of Use

 

The information we access is used exclusively for the following purposes and will not be used for any other reason:

  1. To display a hierarchical structure of the spreadsheet tabs (sheets) in the sidebar.

  2. To switch the active spreadsheet view to the sheet selected in the sidebar.

  3. To highlight the currently active sheet within the sidebar.

 

 
Data Storage and Third-Party Sharing

 

We do not store, save, or transfer any information accessed through this Add-on to our own servers or any external databases.

All processing is completed within your browser and on Google's servers. None of your spreadsheet information is ever provided to any third party, including us.

 

 

Use of Google API Services

 

ARIADNE's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information obtained from Google APIs through this Add-on will not be transferred to any other app, used for advertising purposes, or sold.

 

 

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may modify this Policy as necessary. The modified Policy will become effective when posted on our company website. We will strive to provide advance notice of any significant changes.
