What plans are there?

Maison Apéro has two plans. Free: full messaging, with disappearing messages (IGF) up to 4 weeks — every message eventually disappears. Réserve: extend IGF to 52 weeks or keep messages permanently, create permanent groups, use voice features, and unlock every badge. During our launch period (through the end of August 2026) all Réserve features are free for everyone.

Is Maison Apéro end-to-end encrypted?

No. Your content is protected in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256, Google-managed keys) and guarded by strict security rules and App Check, but we (and our cloud provider) can technically access it. For private, end-to-end-encrypted messaging, use our separate app Arc — the two apps are independent and not linked.

What file sizes can I send?

Images up to 3GB, and videos and files up to 100MB. Media is automatically compressed (images to WebP, video to H.264 720p) so you keep quality while saving data.

Can I use it where the signal is weak?

Yes. Because media is compressed before sending, transfers stay fast and reliable even on a weak connection.

What are disappearing messages (IGF)?

Accepted Answer

IGF sets a lifetime on your messages: when the timer expires they're permanently deleted from every device and our servers, with no copy left behind. Free plans can set up to 4 weeks; Réserve up to 52 weeks, or you can keep messages permanently.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings and choose to delete your account. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and requires re-authentication for safety.

Where can I create an account?

Accepted Answer

Accounts are created only in the mobile app (iOS / Android). After that you can log in from iOS, Android, macOS and the Web (PWA) with your Google or Apple account.

Which languages do the AI characters support?

All of them. Étoile and Méthode detect the language you write in and reply in the same language, following you if you switch mid-conversation.

Is my location collected?

No. Maison Apéro does not collect or store location data.

Secret Mode hides a sent message behind a playful emoji until the recipient taps to reveal it — handy for surprises or preventing over-the-shoulder peeking.
