To provide the Maison Apéro experience, we collect:

• Profile Information: Display name, bio, and profile picture you choose to share.
• Wine Data: Bottles you add to your cellar, tasting notes, ratings, and labels you scan.
• Social Interactions: Comments, likes, and connections with other wine lovers.
• Device Information: Language settings, operating system, and push notification tokens.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and personalize the community features.
• To power our AI wine companions, Étoile and Méthode, to provide recommendations.
• To notify you of drinking windows and social updates.
• To improve the app's features and label recognition technology.

3. Data Sharing and Privacy

Maison Apéro is a social platform. Your profile and shared wine data are visible to the community by default. You can manage your visibility settings in the app.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may use anonymized, aggregate data to analyze wine trends.

Advertising and Analytics: We use Google AdMob and Google Analytics (Firebase) to display relevant advertisements and understand app usage. These services may collect and use the Advertising ID (AD_ID) from your device to provide personalized ads and aggregate usage metrics. You can opt out of personalized ad tracking through your device's system settings.

4. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. While Maison Apéro does not use the same E2EE architecture as Arc, your data is transmitted via secure HTTPS and stored in encrypted databases.

5. Your Rights

You can access, update, or delete your account information at any time within the app settings. Account deletion is permanent and removes all your data from our active servers.
