It requires no phone number for registration, operates with strict zero telemetry, and features sender-controlled Mutual Burn (Vanish-on-Read) message retirement.
Why is Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) essential today?▼
Adversaries and nation-state threat actors are actively conducting 'Store Now, Decrypt Later' (SNDL) attacks—intercepting and storing encrypted high-value communications today to decrypt them when quantum computers mature. Arc prevents retroactive decryption by implementing a hybrid post-quantum handshake uniting classic Curve25519 with quantum-resistant lattice-based ML-KEM-1024.
How does Arc offline mesh communication work during disasters and network outages?▼
When cellular towers, fiber networks, or internet backbones fail due to earthquakes, natural disasters, or intentional network blackouts, Arc devices automatically establish peer-to-peer Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connections. Encrypted messages are relayed hop-by-hop (Store-and-Forward) across nearby devices until reaching the recipient, enabling critical crisis communication with zero infrastructure.
How does Arc differ from Signal, WhatsApp, and Telegram?▼
Unlike Signal and WhatsApp, Arc does not mandate a cellular phone number, preventing SIM-swap and identity correlation. Unlike Telegram, Arc employs genuine E2EE by default on all 1:1 and group chats. Crucially, Arc provides native offline BLE mesh routing and post-quantum ML-KEM-1024 encryption, which no mainstream messenger offers.
What is Atlas Associates' privacy and data sovereignty guarantee?▼
Atlas Associates has zero advertising, zero trackers, and zero data monetization. Messages are end-to-end encrypted so server infrastructure never possesses decryption keys. Cryptographic keys remain isolated within the device's secure hardware enclave. The company adheres to a strict zero-telemetry policy and maintains absolute independence from sovereign surveillance pressures.
